Holy Week is a particular time for Christians all over the world. It is a time to remember the events leading up to the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
At St Paul's & Barnabas Church, we will hold special services throughout Holy Week. On Palm Sunday, we will celebrate Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem. Firstly, On Holy Wednesday we will gather to prepare ourselves for the week ahead. Then on Maundy Thursday, we will commemorate the Last Supper and the washing of the disciples' feet. On Good Friday, we will remember Jesus' crucifixion. And on Easter Sunday, we will celebrate Jesus' resurrection.
We invite you to join us for these special services as we reflect on the meaning of Holy Week.
As Easter approaches, we come together not only to celebrate the resurrection but also to connect with our community through prayer. On Tuesday the 26th meeting at SPB at 1400. St. Paul’s & St. Barnabas Parish is hosting with friends an Easter Community Prayer Walk. This is a time for us to join our hearts and voices in prayer, seeking God’s grace and blessings for the places and people in our neighbourhoods.
